AFFAIRS OF
THE HEART
Her smile thawed my winter bulb.
Her voice led me, out of a massive depression!
She dissolved the cobwebs that had saturated my brain.
She grew paper whites, healed my seized up bones added a spring in my walk.
Nevertheless, here the story takes a twist.
In the process, my fears were never dismissed.
Love is not always kind Scared I left her behind, built a bigger maze hid in its haze.
I wonder if she thinks of me The woman I no longer see.
Just Numb a ship come and gone ho-hum, I'll pass on the baton.
end of the story no guts no glory
